SUPPORT PARTNERS

When Kendal and District Christian Literature Society started the Market Place Bookshop many local Christians joined as ‘Members of the Society’. Their annual subscriptions and prayerful support of the Charity were the foundation on which the Bookshop grew and prospered. Recently we have changed the name ‘Member’ to ‘Support Partner’ to reflect our growing need for the prayers and support of people in local churches throughout the area. We would like to see the shop continue to serve local Christians and the community with literature to promote and strengthen their faith.

Our Support Partners pay a subscription of £10 annually and receive a Newsletter and Prayer card twice a year. You are also invited to the Annual General Meeting that is usually held in June and a Christmas ‘get together’. To become a Support Partner you fill in a simple form, which is available from the shop or from some Churches, with your name and address and return it to the shop with your subscription.
